『Japanese Sculpture Next 100 years project』とは…
KANEGAEがこれからの時代を担う現代作家と関わり、彼らの創作活動のチカラになりたいという思いから、始めたプロジェクトです。

今まで古美術や近代工芸を取り扱ってきた際と同じ目で、現代においても見事な技術と感性を持った方をのみに焦点を当てております。
そんな彼らと過去の名作を手に取って学びながら、制作者ならではの目線で作品を解説して頂いております。
そうやってお互いの「腕」と「目」を高め合っております。

同じ時代を生きる偉才たちの作品をたくさんの人に知ってほしい。
彼らが新たな人々や名作と出会い、その世界観をさらに広げてほしい。
当店が、そんな場所になればと思っています。
確かな技術を持った作家達と皆さまの感性と共に100年、200年先にも色褪せない魅力的な現代美術をつくりたいです。

"Japanese Sculpture Next one hundred years project"
We at KANEGAE began this project out of our involvement with contemporary artists who will be leading the art world in the coming generation, and our desire to assist their creative activities.

We thank all these modern artists with amazing skills and sensibilities for accepting our invitation to the project, whom we have selected with the same practiced eye, with which we select antiques and contemporary fine arts.
We have the great works of art from the past appreciated by these artists with their sense of touch and described from the creators’ distinctive point of view.

The project is designed for the purpose of bringing these creators and the antique and fine art dealer together, to help them inspire each other and enhance their artistic skills and eye.
We want many people to learn about the excellence of works by these artists living in the same age.
We similarly would like the artists to make various new acquaintances and further broaden their own world view.
We hope that this venue will be a suitable site for such encounters.
We aspire to the creation of appealing contemporary art that will not have lost its luster even 100 or 200 years from now, together with the esthetic sensibility of the artists in possession of solid know-how and their audience.
