『一刻』刀

2017年の超絶技巧展の為に製作した作品。古い刀身と拵えを調達、研究した。それらを自分好みに模して全て木彫で再現した。構想ニ年。彫刻、着彩に一年をこの作品だけに費やした前原入魂の作品。

“One Moment”, Sword

This is a work produced for the 2017 “Transcendental Skill” exhibition. He did his research with an old blade and by raising his craftsmanship. Reproducing it to his liking, Maehara replicated everything through wood carving. The conception took two years, then for the carving and coloring, a year was spent only on this work, into which he poured his soul.
