土岐 謙次 <Kenji Toki>
漆造形家。京都市出身。京都市立芸術大学美術研究科博士後期課程産業工芸・意匠修了、博士(美術)。2002年頃より三次元プリンターを使った漆造形作品の制作を行う。コンピュテーショナルデザインによる乾漆（麻布を漆で固める伝統造形技法）造形制作の他、建築構造家と共同で乾漆の強度実験を行うなど、古くて新しい漆の可能性を追求している。

Kenji Toki (b. 1969) explores modern expressions of an ancient art form. In addition to using traditional lacquer (urushi) techniques, the artist experiments with carbon fibre as well as computer-aided design and photography, linking old and new concepts beyond time and space and bringing together modern digital technology and time-honored craftsmanship.Toki is a multiple degree graduate from the Kyoto City University of Arts in the Department of Crafts - Urushi Lacquering, and he is the winner of numerous awards, prizes and scholarships. The artist has exhibited across Japan and his work is in the public collections of many international museums including The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
