『流刻』 大山椒魚

大山椒魚は三千万年前からその姿を変えていないという。流れゆく時の中にその存在を刻み続けてきた生命力に私は感動する。鉄板の打ち出すことによりその生命力を表出させたいと考えた。

“Flow of Time”, Japanese Giant Salamander

The Japanese Giant Salamander is said to have remained unchanged in its appearance for 30 million years. I am moved by its vitality to continuously carve out its existence in the constant flow of time. By hammering out the iron plate, I wanted to express this sense of vitality.
