鬼蜻蜓

尻尾を動かせば羽が上下する仕掛けとなっていて、一木と自在が融合した作品。複眼には瑪瑙をレンズ状に削り裏から箔押することで生を表した。

“Oniyanma (Anotogaster sieboldii)”

Devised so that if you move the tail, the wings moves up and down, this is a work that is a combination of single-block and jizai techniques. It is brought to life with compound eyes made of agate carved into a lens-like shape, and gilded from the reverse side.
